It aims to build knowledge and understanding of autism and empower families and carers to advocate for autistic people they support. 28 March 2023 National Autism Peer Education Programme announced The National Autism Peer Education Programme will offer families and carers of autistic people high-quality and easily accessible autism education, training, and support, via regional hubs across England, alongside a dedicated website (Autism Central).
